Juvelook Results Timeline and Aftercare: When Will You See Results?

YAAN Skin Clinic Team • October 17, 2026

The short answer: Juvelook works by stimulating your own collagen, so results are gradual. Early hydration and smoothness can show within a few weeks, the main improvement in texture and pores usually builds from about one to three months, and a course of two to three sessions around four weeks apart is common. Small bumps or mild swelling usually settle within a few days. At YAAN Clinic in Gangnam, Seoul, Juvelook full face is ₩490,000 and Juvelook Volume starts from ₩290,000 per area.

Below is a realistic timeline, the aftercare most doctors recommend, and how to fit Juvelook into a trip to Korea. Follow your own doctor's instructions where they differ.

What is Juvelook?

Juvelook is a Korean collagen-stimulating injectable that combines PDLLA (poly-D,L-lactic acid) microspheres with hyaluronic acid. The hyaluronic acid gives early hydration, while the PDLLA particles prompt the skin to build new collagen over time. Standard Juvelook is used as a skin booster for texture, enlarged-looking pores, fine lines and shallow acne scars. Juvelook Volume is a higher-concentration version for gradual volume in areas such as the temples and cheeks.

Juvelook results timeline

  • Days 0–3: small injection bumps, mild redness or swelling. Skin may look slightly plumper from the hyaluronic acid and fluid.
  • Week 1–2: the early plumpness settles, so skin can look close to how it did before. This is normal and not a sign the treatment failed.
  • Week 4: many people notice smoother texture and a more even surface. This is a typical point for the second session.
  • Months 2–3: collagen continues to build. Pores, fine lines and shallow scars usually look their best after the full course.
  • Maintenance: results commonly last many months; many people top up about once or twice a year.

How many Juvelook sessions do I need?

For skin texture and pores, two to three sessions about four weeks apart is a common plan. Someone with mainly mild dullness may be happy after one or two; someone with acne scars may need more and may combine Juvelook with Potenza or pico fractional laser. If you can only visit Seoul once, ask your doctor whether a single session is worthwhile for your goal.

Aftercare: the first week

  • Do not rub or press the treated area on the day unless your doctor specifically asks you to massage.
  • Avoid make-up on treatment day; light make-up is usually fine from the next day.
  • Skip saunas, jjimjilbang, hot baths, alcohol and intense exercise for about two to three days.
  • Pause retinoids, peels and strong acids for a few days.
  • Use a gentle moisturiser and SPF 50 daily.
  • Avoid facial massage devices or strong facials on the area for about two weeks unless approved.

Side effects to know about

Common, temporary effects are small bumps, mild redness, swelling, tenderness and pinpoint bruising. Less often, small lumps can be felt under the skin. Rarely, collagen stimulators can cause persistent nodules. Treatment by a physician who places the product at the correct depth and dose reduces these risks. Contact the clinic if you have worsening pain, spreading redness, signs of infection, or lumps that persist beyond a couple of weeks.

Can I fly after Juvelook?

Usually yes, often the next day. If you want the bumps to settle before travelling, book treatment two to three days before departure. Hydrate on the flight and keep up sunscreen. YAAN Clinic offers English aftercare support by WhatsApp once you are home.

Juvelook vs Rejuran: which first?

Both are skin boosters, but they do different jobs. Juvelook focuses on collagen building for texture and pores; Rejuran focuses on repair of thin, damaged skin. Many people combine them. Read the full comparison in Rejuran vs Juvelook.
