Potenza is a radiofrequency (RF) microneedling treatment. Fine needles create controlled micro-channels in the skin while RF energy heats the deeper dermis, prompting the skin to rebuild collagen and elastin. At YAAN Clinic in Gangnam, Seoul, it is used mainly for acne scars, enlarged pores, uneven texture, fine lines and mild sagging.

How it works

Collagen, rebuilt from within

Potenza combines two mechanisms in one pass.

Microneedling: ultra-fine needles create tiny, controlled channels in the skin, which trigger the natural wound-healing response.

Radiofrequency: RF energy is released at the needle tips inside the dermis. The heat tightens existing collagen and stimulates new collagen and elastin over the following months.

Needle depth and RF intensity are adjustable, so the doctor can treat scars, pores and fine lines at different depths in the same session. Compare it with other RF microneedling options and classic microneedling.

Plan on about 90 minutes at the clinic in Gangnam, including consultation and numbing.
