Avoiding Unexpected Charges at Korean Skin Clinics
Most surprise bills come from a few predictable places. Use this checklist before you pay, and you’ll know exactly what you’re buying.
Before paying, confirm in writing: the product brand, the dose (shots, units or cc), the treatment area, whether VAT is included, whether consultation, numbing or follow-up are extra, and the final total in KRW. At YAAN Clinic, prices come from our published list and we don’t use package pressure.
The pre-payment checklist

| Currency | Pay in KRW to avoid poor card conversion rates |
Watch out for
- Packages pushed on the day “only for today”
- Agents quoting a different price from the clinic’s own list
- Vague quotes without brand or dose
Keep your records
Ask for an itemised receipt showing treatment, brand and dose. It’s useful for future treatments at home and for any questions later.

Usually KRW. Paying in your home currency through the card terminal often uses a less favourable conversion rate.

Does YAAN Clinic charge for numbing cream?
Ask your coordinator; any extras will be listed on your written quote before you pay.
