Why the same treatment can have different prices

  • Product brand: imported toxins and fillers (Allergan, Juvéderm) cost more than Korean or other alternatives.
  • Dose: lifting devices are priced by shots or joules; injectables by units or cc.
  • Area: a forehead and a full jawline need very different amounts.
  • Doctor and consultation: a director consultation is listed at ₩30,000 (waived with treatment).

What to check before you pay

Ask whether the quote includes VAT, numbing cream or anaesthesia, consultation fees and any follow-up. Our unexpected charges checklist covers each one.

Frequently asked questions

Are skin treatments cheaper in Korea than in the US or Europe?

Often yes, because of high clinic competition and volume. Compare like with like: the same brand, dose and number of sessions.

Can I pay by card?

International credit cards are widely accepted in Seoul clinics. Confirm the final amount in KRW before paying so currency conversion doesn’t surprise you.

Do prices include VAT?

It depends on the clinic and treatment. Cosmetic procedures in Korea are subject to 10% VAT, so ask for a quote that clearly states whether VAT is included. See VAT refund.
